Multimedia Presentations

Effective Presentation is a result of planned preparation.
Prepare and Rehearse - this is the only way to deliver a good presentation.

Students (most of them) get upset or tensed when they hear about making presentations. This is quiet natural and there is nothing to worry about all these. But, keep in mind few important points that may help you to overcome these fears and tensions.

Presentation should be made ONLY if you are sincerely ready for that.

Do not hurry to make a presentation, it will never help, how much experienced you are.

Ask your supervisor (if you are a student) about the requirements, location, duration and time of presentation.

Get to know about the kind of audience before whom you deliver your presentation.

Visit the room (if you can) before your presentation date (one or two days before) and copy your slides to the computer and project it on the screen.
Check whether the colour combination is ok and all standards are met.

Sit as a listener and stand as a presenter and walk through the room as if you are really making a presentation.
Check out your videos and picture whether they are working properly with new computer and required software.

stand at the back of the room and look it from there.

The following topics are commonly used :

2.Junk Foods
3. Health tips and Exercise
Etc ...

Take up a topic that is very clear to you and not overdone...

Make sure you submit your documents on time....

Make practise presentations and keep yourself updated and well kept.

Communicate with your supervisor at regular intervals.

Be Confident and speak louder, with a varying tone, making eye contacts...
